For anyone counting, yes, I’m three fortnights behind.  Vacation, illness, yadda yadda yadda.  Sorry.  I think this edition is a strong one, maybe it’ll have been worth the wait.

Hard to believe new planets have become a bit ho-hum. This one merits mention here because it was discovered by a team at our own UCF.

Brief, easy-to-understand explanation of the statistics behind confirming a tricky scientific experiment. (In this case, confirming the Higgs Boson.)
